Event Overview

Grand Prize:

·        Five (5) overnights at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa (Honolulu airport transportation to/from hotel included)

·        One (1) round-trip coach airfare for two (2) adults on United Airlines from Europe (Reference airport departure locations)

·        European airport transportation to/from residence from Enterprise Rent-A-Car, contingent upon Grand Prize winner’s origin location

Before entering, please remember:

·        Must be at least 18 years old

·        Must be a legally married couple (expense for children not included)

·        Must be active duty E-6 or below

·        Military member must be stationed in Europe

Winners will be announced on the Midday Show on February 19, 2010.

To Enter: Service members must email the following information to europe@uso.org

-         Full name (spouse)

-         Number of years married

-         Full name (active duty member)

-         Rank

-         Name of unit

-         Unit location

-         Contact phone numbers (DSN and Mobile)

-         A brief explanation of “What your valentine (sweetheart) means to you”

• Round-trip coach tickets to be given away for two (2) adults, service member E-6 and below and spouse, on United Airlines from Europe to Hawaii.

• Tickets valid from March 1, 2010 through September 1, 2010 from the following departure locations:

-         Amsterdam

-         Brussels

-         Frankfurt

-         London

-         Munich

-         Paris

-         Rome

-         Zurich

• Travel must commence no later than September 1, 2010

• Sponsors should be referred to as:

-         United Airlines

-         Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa http://www.hiltonhawaiianvillage.com/

-         Enterprise Rent-A-Car

• AFN will launch radio and TV spots inviting service members E-6 and below and their spouses to send an email to europe@uso.org with a short explanation of what their valentine (sweetheart) means to them, including their unit, location, cell phone, and email address.

• Emails will be collected at USO Europe and then forwarded to AFN South

• Entrants may be called by AFN disk jockeys for on air interviews on the Eagle Midday, Eagle Saturday, Eagle Gold, or the PowerNet Connections shows during the contest entry period, January 15 – February 15, 2010.

• Entry stops at 00:01 AM on February 15, 2010.
