Support Your Local USO

America's Sons & Daughters Need the USO, & the USO needs You!

The USO of Illinois is a civilian non-profit organization that receives no direct financial support from the government or any branch of the armed forces. We are able to provide programs and services to our military personnel and their families only through the generous charitable giving of individuals, organizations, corporations, foundations, AMVETS, American Legions, VFW, United Way and the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC).

You can feel confident that your gift will go directly to improving the lives of the brave men and women who serve our country in the armed forces.  An independent accounting firm conducts an annual audit of the USO of Illinois' financial records to ensure we are using your gift responsibly.  The USO of Illinois annual report is available upon request.  All gifts are promptly acknowledged, and as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt agency, your gift to the USO of Illinois will be tax deductible to the fullest extent allowable by the law. Please consult your tax professional to determine the deductibility of your gift.

Your gift to the USO of Illinois ensures the uninterrupted delivery of essential services benefiting military personnel and their families stationed in or traveling through the Chicagoland area. By including the USO of Illinois in your regular charitable giving, you help boost the morale of America's men and women who serve our country in essential national defense and peacekeeping missions.

Angel & Paul Harvey Gallery of Stars at USO Navy Pier

The USO of Illinois is proud to offer this special opportunity to commemorate, celebrate, and support America’s sons and daughters while supporting our newest center at Navy Pier.

For your gift of $250, the USO of Illinois will engrave a star (approximately 4  1/4" in diameter) with a message of your choice, and make your star a part of the permanent wall display at the USO Center at Navy Pier.  Your star can honor a family member, friend, or even yourself.  The best part is that your sponsorship will share in the history of the USO and show unending support for the men, women, and families of the Armed Forces.

Please print and complete the Star Sponsorship Form, and mail it to the USO at Navy Pier.  We will order your star immediately, and notify you when it has been added to the Gallery of Stars.  We will also, at your request, be more than happy to provide you with a letter and/or photo of your star to provide to the person you have honored with your gift to the USO of Illinois.
