“Be My Valentine” Hawaiian Island Getaway Winner

Lucky Couple Receives a Free Romantic Vacation to O'ahu Hawaii

Einsiedlerhof, Germany (21 February 2013) – Winner for USO Europe’s “Be My Valentine" Hawaiian Island Giveaway was announced today.

Thanks to USO and its sponsors CWTSato Travel, Europcar, Hilton Hawaiian Village, O'ahu Visitors Bureau, TKS Telepost Kabel-Service, United Airlines, and Europcar, SSG Jason and his wife Kaitlin Peacock assigned to 4/2 Cavalry at Rose Barracks in Vilseck, Germany will soon be vacationing at the beautiful Hawaiian Hilton Village at O'ahu Hawaii.

Out of 1001 entries, the winning couple’s entry was randomly selected by our sponsors at a drawing held on February 21 at AFN Europe Headquarters in Mannheim.  SSG Peacock and his wife will receive:

-        Two Round-trip coach airfare tickets (from selected European airports)

-        Five (5) night stay

o   Hilton Hawaiian Village Ocean View accommodations for two adults (Blackout dates: April 6-19, July 1-6, and July 29-Aug 4, 2013 inclusive)

The winners were chosen from more than one-thousand entries from service members or their spouse who called AFN Radio or entered a brief explanation online of what their Valentine (sweetheart) means to them. The next giveaway planned for USO Europe will send one lucky family (of up to five) to Chicago for the USO "Taste of Chicago" Giveaway. Entry will begin 3 June and end on 14 June 2013.
