Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the USO!
For nearly 70 years volunteers have lifted the spirits of America’s troops and their families during times of peace and conflict. From reassuring a young soldier deploying overseas for the first time and providing comfort to a military family in transit, to playing cards with wounded warriors and organizing Football Night on a base in Afghanistan, volunteers play a key role in boosting the morale of those serving in our armed forces.
USO volunteers are part of a unique team of individuals dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others. Young or experienced, civilian or military, USO volunteers come in all shapes and sizes, and are deeply committed to meeting the challenges of supporting those who serve our country.
