There are 160 USO locations (the U.S. and overseas - which include: Centers, Mobile USOs, USOs in a Box)
USO Centers are located in 23 states, and the District of Columbia, and 10 countries throughout the world to include UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Afghanistan, Japan, Korea, Germany, Italy, and the US territory of Guam.
The number of USO locations changes as the USO continuously adapts to meet the needs of the troops and their families.
$0.89 of every dollar donated is spent directly on the troops
USO Centers are the locations that directly provide USO programs, services and amenities to troops and their families around the world.
Centers provide a warm and comforting place where troops can connect with family via Internet or telephone, play a video game, catch a movie, have a snack or just put their feet up and relax.
While no two USO Centers are alike, the three qualities that define every USO center are: 1) a home-like environment, 2) the ability to connect with loved ones back home via internet and phone, and 3) snacks to enjoy. They also have staff and volunteers working directly at the center.
