The weather in the Jacksonville area is most commonly referred to as "Summer and January.” Spring and Fall in Jacksonville are beautiful, with weather usually in the low 80's and clear skies. "Winter" in Jacksonville is quite mild--very few nights get below freezing. A "cold day" is usually in the mid to upper 40's. Summer temperatures stay in the 90s reliably, and afternoon rain is a regular occurrence in the summer months.
