For nearly 70 years volunteers have lifted the spirits of American troops and their families during times of peace and conflict. From reassuring a young soldier deploying overseas for the first time and providing comfort to a military family in transit, to playing cards with wounded warriors and organizing Football Night on a base in Afghanistan, volunteers play a key role in boosting the morale of those serving in our armed forces.
