The USO is a non-profit organization funding free programs and services primarily through donations with 86 cents of every dollar going directly to programs worldwide.
USO Okinawa has a wide variety of sponsorship opportunities impacting all camps, bases, and armed forces. From Free Food Night to mobile programs to Farewell & Welcome Homes, there is no better way to show your appreciation than to tell them first hand. USO provides free programs and services primarily due to a volunteer force of 25,000 worldwide making the estimated 5.3 million annual visits comfortable. Where do you come in? USO Okinawa is seeking volunteers from the military and local community as we meet our motto of providing a touch of home, whether it is a goodbye for a deployment or a welcome home upon return, we are the extension of America. USO Fact: Over $32,000,000 are donated to the USO through the direct mail program at https://www.uso.org/donate/ If all SOFA personnel donated $1 annually, it would allow USO Okinawa to provide more free food programs and free cultural classes supplementing the great everyday services benefiting our young service men and women. Donation forms at USO Okinawa centers are also available for your tax-deductible donation.
