The USO in the Pacifc meets the vast distances that our military members travel to serve our country. From Japan to Korea we are proud to provide a "home away from home" for the young men and women who serve.
We have eighteen service centers throughout the region, including centers in Guam, Hawaii, Korea and Japan including Okinawa. Each center is unique and specifically designed to offer support and service to the military and their families in the particular country or region that it is based in.
Our service centers are the backbone of the USO and they provide a valuable bond with each local community, forging ties and creating goodwill. From language and cultural lessons to free Wifi hotspots and places for troops on the move to rest at airports and AMC terminals, the USO in the Pacific’s mission is to provide support for our military at home and overseas "Until Everyone Comes home".
Core Services:
The USO is best known for its celebrity entertainment however our mission, "to support US troops and their families wherever they serve" is much broader than providing entertainment alone.
To this end we offer a number of core services which you will find at all of our service centers. These core services include, providing free phone calls home, email access, Internet-ready computers, WiFi hotspots, comfortable lounges to rest in with big screen TVs, snacks & food and of course our special USO spirit. We bring "a touch of home" wherever we go! If you are feeling homesick whilst serving in the Pacific why not drop into one of our centers!!
